Ill admit that I didnt read the fine print before using the app. If I had, I probably would have known that Giftagram acts as a conduit between the consumer and Amazon. I ordered a gift with a retail price of $45.00 and paid $9.00 shipping for a total of $54.00. Its an awesome gift and is perfect for my stepson so I didnt mind paying the price. However, when it arrived in an Amazon Prime box as a "gift" from Giftagram I became curious. I found the same gift on Amazon for $30.00. Since Im already a prime member I would have received free 2-day shipping. So Giftagram uses their Amazon Prime account to make a profit. Heres a tip: if you see something you really like on Giftagram, you may want to check Amazon before you end up dropping an extra $24 like I did.
